Time Out Club and Breakfast Clubs have been set up by Karen Chesterman and Angie Kay-Jessop who aim to provide a happy, safe, fun and stimulating environment for children both before and after school hours.
The clubs are open for all children from the age of 4 – 11 years. We use the school hall & dining hall, where we play board games, arts & crafts, use computers, Lego, Playmobile etc, We use the school outside areas as much as possible to play football, basketball, tennis, cricket, parachute games or just sit and have some quiet time in the fresh air.
We are registered by Ofsted and comply to all Health and Safety standards. We operate in the school hall, dining room and outside playgrounds.
Breakfast Club is available Monday to Friday (term time) from 7.30am until 8.50am
For breakfast the children can choose from a selection of cereals, toast with various spreads, fruit and yoghurt. Drinks of fruit juice, milk or water available all the time. When the children have finished breakfast they have free play.
** Please note that from September 2021, the earliest drop off time for Breakfast Club will be 7:50am**
Time Out Club is also available Monday to Friday (term time) from 3.05pm - 6pm.
A ‘rolling tea’ is provided and consists of a choice of sandwiches/toasties. Once a week we have beans/spaghetti on toast or hotdogs in a roll with squash or water. In the summer we occasionally have a picnic tea outside.
The Clubs are staffed by a Manager or Deputy Manager and play workers who make up our excellent team.
