Welcome to Mount Pleasant Lane Primary School

A warm welcome to Mount Pleasant Lane Primary School. Our school is a wonderful place where children learn, achieve and thrive: both academically and socially. My aim is to ensure that pupils leaving the school are happy, confident, accomplished, kind and resilient children, who are ready to face the next stage in their education. We encourage this through our exciting curriculum, which is intended to challenge and inspire each and every pupil.

At Mount Pleasant Lane School, we have extremely dedicated staff who work hard to ensure that all children are happy and successful learners. We are a nurturing school, where children and adults share in the joy of learning together. We form strong professional relationships with our supportive parents, governors and members of the local community.

We are proud to be part of Spiral Partnership Trust, which gives Mount Pleasant Lane School invaluable support, by enabling us to establish excellent links and share innovative resources and ideas with other high-achieving schools. 

We are fortunate to have a very spacious site: our large field enables children to enjoy outdoor learning, a wide range of sports and imaginative play. We are very ambitious, always looking for further ways to move forward and I have lots of exciting developments planned. We are proud of, and continue to expand, our extra-curricular activities that are offered, which I firmly believe play an integral part in shaping a child’s character.
