Birch - Year Five
Welcome to Birch Classroom
Welcome to Birch! Our year 5 children are now part of Upper Key Stage 2 and are reaching the latter stages of their primary school journey. Birch classroom is an exciting, nurturing space with lots of natural light creating a calm environment. Our classroom is thoughtfully organized and we are lucky to have access to a ‘mini computer lab’ which supports children’s use of technology within the classroom. The desks are organised in a ’U’ shape which allows for whole class collaboration and thoughtful discussion guided by the class teacher.
The teachers for Birch this year are Mrs Edrich (Monday-Thursday) and Miss Warwick (Friday). If you would like to speak to Birch’s classroom teachers, you are welcome to speak to them at drop off or pick up. PE Days
Wednesday and Friday
Children need to come to school in their PE kits on their allotted PE days. We would like to kindly remind you that all children are required to wear a royal blue t-shirt on their given PE days. This does not need to have a school logo on, and these are available in lots of local high-street stores.
