School Meals & Snacks

Hertfordshire Catering Limited (HCL) are our school caterers: they operate a ‘cafeteria style’ school meals service in which the children are offered a selection of hot and cold food which is freshly prepared and sourced locally. Jacket potatoes and salads are served daily and a vegetarian option is always offered. They quality of the food offered is excellent and parents are warmly invited to come and try some.

School Meal price is £3.20 per day (£16 per week).   All school meal payments to be made through Arbor Parent Portal. By accessing the Arbor Parent Portal you will be able to see your child’s meal balance. Please make sure your child’s school meal account is kept in credit with payments made termly in advance. If you receive income support, your children are entitled to free school meals. Snacks

Children in EYFS and KS1 are provided with fruit daily at breaktime. An additional snack from home is optional. Children in KS2 should bring their own snack to school - please ensure this is a healthy snack: fruit, vegetables, crackers and cheese, rice cakes, fruit/plain yoghurt are all appropriate options. We do not allow chocolate/crisps/biscuits for morning snack. Please ensure any snack is nut free as we have children in school with severe nut allergies.
