Our Vision:

The children are at the heart of all that we do at Mount Pleasant Lane Primary School. We are outward looking with a culture of mutual trust and respect, centred on building and fostering relationships with all stakeholders to ensure that every child flourishes. We work closely in partnership with other Spiral schools, enabling us to share ideas and learn from each other.  We strive to live out our shared ethos and understand that our values are central to success, irrespective of children’s starting points and experiences.

Our aim is to ensure that we have no ceilings on learning; these high expectations lead to positive outcomes, both academic and social. We have extensive grounds, which we are in the process of developing in order to make play central to children’s learning and personal development.  Children are kind, respectful and have a thirst for knowledge. We appreciate everyone’s unique skills that they bring to our school and actively encourage a culture of creativity and risk-taking, in a safe and trusting environment.  We aspire to respond to the ever-changing landscape as we prepare all students to be happy, ambitious, curious individuals, who feel equipped for life in the 21st century.
