The Parent Teacher Association of Mount Pleasant Lane School is a registered charity. There is a committee of parents and teachers who meet regularly throughout the school year to organise fund raising events and social activities.

Joining the PTA....
Every parent or carer of a child at Mount Pleasant Lane School is automatically a member of the P.T.A. and is welcome to join the committee. New members who wish to join can be voted onto the committee at the P.T.A.'s Annual General Meeting held in July or September, but are welcome to attend committee meetings throughout the year. All current committee members are approachable and can be found on the playground at school collection if you would like to attend the next meeting. Please see newsletter for contacting members of the PTA.
What does the PTA do?
The P.T.A. raises funds by holding events such as the annual Christmas Bazaar and Summer Fete. We also host social functions like Quizzes, Family Bingo Evenings, Discos, Kid’s on the Catwalk, Summer Fun Days, and Barn Dances etc. These events are not only great fun but also raise money for the benefit of the school.
The money raised by the P.T.A. has been used to help finance the ICT Suite, purchase playground equipment, picnic tables, sports medals, football kit, books and much more. As well as these purchases teachers have wish lists that we try to accommodate.
The P.T.A also organises and finances the children's Christmas parties and discos.
