The Creative Curriculum - We deliver many of the children’s learning opportunities through cross-curricular topics. These topics allow us to pick up on the interests of the children and teach in a more inspirational and creative way. Although Maths and Literacy are still taught as discrete subjects, children are practising their basic skills across the whole curriculum.
Read Write Inc (RWI) - We use a structured phonics scheme to teach Literacy skills to our younger children. This highly regarded programme begins in Reception and continues until children are ready to move on to standard Literacy lessons, which usually happens towards the end of Key Stage 1.
Oxford Reading Tree - We use the Oxford Reading Tree scheme across KS1 & 2 it provides a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction texts including classic stories.
Computing Curriculum - We follow the Herts for Learning Computing Scheme using a 2 year  rolling program. An overview of what we cover is listed in the documents below.

If you would like more information about the curriculum our school is following, please contact the school office or your child's class teacher, who are happy to advise.

Each class curriculum letter is listed in the Parents section and is updated termly, have a look to see what your child is learning this term and how you can help....
