We are keen to see your child with us here at MPL.  As an Academy we manage all of our own in-year admissions and Nursery admissions whilst Herts County Council co-ordinates our Reception admissions. Please click on the link below for our Determined Admissions Arrangements.

September 2024 admissions for Reception

We are currently consulting on reducing our published admissions numbers (PAN) from 45 to 30 children for the September 2024 intake. This will reduce our school from it's current 1.5 form entry to a 1 form entry school. Please contact us at admin@mountpleasant.herts.sch.uk if you would like any further information on this.

RECEPTION ADMISSIONS

Hertfordshire County Council co-ordinates the admissions process for Reception places at Mount Pleasant Lane - click on the link below.

The application process for September 2023 (for children whose date of birth is between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019) will open on 1st November 2022 and will close on 15th January 2023. 

NURSERY ADMISSIONS 2023/2024

Mount Pleasant Lane co-ordinates its own Nursery Admissions.  For children whose date of birth is between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020 the online admissions portal will open on 1st November 2022.  

The online Nursery admission portal has now closed.  Please contact the school office if you wish to make a late application - admin@mountpleasant.herts.sch.uk

Our Nursery hours are 8.45am to 11.45am Monday to Friday.  We only offer non-flexible places for five days a week; 3 hours per day, we do not offer part time places. We have one intake of 15 places to start in September 2023.
